When it's 107 outside? Do you play outside because it is hot? Do you play with your friends and ride a bike? NOT. Do you swim in a pool to keep yourself cool? Is that what you do? So do I. Although the pool is more like a warm bath in July...The girls, Maddie's friend, and my nephews; enjoyed the last week before school starts by jumping off of the trampoline and into the deep end. The pool has been the best investment ever!!! Although it will take years to pay off, my kids get up in the morning and swim all day. It's the best babysitter! All of the neighbor kids come here to play and swim. We often spend our family home evenings playing Marco Polo.

school already?... I thought having 2 weeks left was too soon! I guess it's time to start thinking about school supplies and lunch snacks again - bummer!
looks like fun, maybe in my next life we'll have a pool - it would certainly help on all these 100+ days that we're having - I about fainted when our temperature was 3 degrees ABOVE Phoenix, we're always lower - it just isn't fair!
We are so happy that you guys have a blog too. It is awesome that we can keep in contact this way too! We miss you, and I will never forget that time at Grandma Johnson's funeral either. I am so glad that I get to have older siblings not. It is awesome. I hope that we get to see your family sooner rather than later. By the way tell Mike Happy Birthday from us. We have been so horrible lately with trying to keep in contact with people!
I can't believe your kids are starting school already! Our schools don't have AC, so they try to avoid August. (They go back the 21st) I love seeing pictures of your girls and what you are up to. That pool sounds so fun!!! Ahhhhh, we dream about having one too. . . .
